Away We Go
Today we have been busy bees packing for our holiday to Cornwall. 10 days in our favourite place, and it even looks like the weather may be nice for the duration!
The cases are packed, cars full of 'jungle juice' (as my Dad always called it) ready for the 6 hour journey. Mr Bee is itching to get on the beach, he just can't contain it any longer! Heres to lazy days by the sea, visiting picturesque villages and late nights on the beach.

Hazy Summer Evenings
Okay so it may not technically be summer just yet, but the weather seems to think so! This evening after our BBQ, we went for a nice stroll into the fields that surround where we live. You don't have to walk very far to be in the middle of fields, and we love to spend our summer exploring, it has become somewhat of a ritual.

As you can see, we aren't too far from the city, you can see it in the distance. Further forward you can see the M1 which passes but 50 yards from our house.
It was a little bright! |
We found a tyre swing |
On our way home, we stopped off at the park so that Papa and I could have a sit down. We had quite a walk!
What a glorious warm and hazy evening. We must do this more often!

Sunshine!
Fully taking advantage of the glorious weather. The paddling pool was a highlight, keeping Mr Bee cool throughout the day. I lost count of the amount of iced lollies he has eaten trying to keep cool. A trip to the shop ended in tears and numerous nasty grazes which really frightened Mr Bee, but he was a brave boy. Papa was fixing Uncle Gerards car and Mr Bee was itching to help, carrying spanners and fixing anything he could. Luckily the weather seems to be here to stay, hopefully long enough to give us wonderful weather for our holiday next week!
