Mr and Mrs Hancock

Today we celebrated the wedding of Dani and Rob. It has been a long time coming, having being planned for at least two years but it was worth the wait. It was a lovely day spent with our family and lots of new friends too!

Burnley

Just as usual, we spent the days after Christmas with our northern family up in Burnley. Though the floods of Storm Eva/Frank had hit quite badly, we were quite safe and dry in Poppar's house.
We seemed to have a very busy few days, fixing cars and visiting family, but we spent most of our time with Dani and the kids. Oh what fun they had!

The Bleak North

This weekend we are staying at our in-laws up in Burnley, Lancashire. We travelled up last night so we could spend the day with Papa today. He surprised us and took us to Harrogate. We had a little walk around the shops, bought a new blouse for me as I stupidly didn't bring a top to wear with my jeans! Then we went to the world famous Betty's Tea Rooms for a cream tea lunch.

On our way home we visited somewhere that we have wanted to go for a very long time. Friends have been asking me to visit and get pictures for months so here you are guys, the Singing Ringing Tree!

The Panopticon

Shortly after we arrived back at the house, Dani and Summer came to visit. These two little people are so adorable together, especially now they are both talking so well. They play so pleasantly with no tears this time!

Ellie decided Dani needed a new hair do...

Aren't they gorgeous!
Tomorrow, Mr Bee is going to go to the Turf for the game against Peterborough. I am hoping for an afternoon to do something on my own for a few hours!

A Birthday Party

Today, my beautiful niece turned two! We ventured up to the North for a day of celebration.
On our way, we visited Grandma Julie. We played on the big trampoline, what fun! They had funny fake grass!
Then we made our way to a local soft play centre, the venue for the party.
There was Summer, the birthday girl.
There was Pass the Parcel (you can't have a party without pass the parcel!)
There was cake and sparklers.
There were party clothes.
 There were new friends.
 There was lots of food!
There was laughter (Nana and Poppa)
 There was lovely bunting.
 There was lots of mess!
 There were party hats.
 There was dancing.
There were lots of baby toes.
There were presents for the birthday girl.
There were lots of things to play with.
And there was the proud Mummy!

We had such a packed full day but it was possibly the nicest birthday party we have been to. Thank you so much for inviting us Dani, we wouldn't have missed it for the world. Here's to many more fantastic parties!
