Chocolate Brownies

Today Louie and I made delicious chocolate brownies. I have never made chocolate brownies before, why I don't know. Super easy and lots of fun for Louie, we had them made in a jiffy. We used the Brownie Tin (and recipe) that we received after collecting the Lurpak Kitchen Heroes codes. I can't wait to dollop some stiff cream and a sprinkle on some pomegranate seeds for a yummy supper treat this evening.

Foodie Weekend

 

This weekend started off with a woodland walk and mainly revolved around food.

Homemade Garlic and Rosemary Focaccia
With a risotto stuffed flat mushroom, topped with herby breadcrumbs and a salad.
Focaccia turned grilled deli sandwich with tomato, salami, mozzarella and pesto.

Lemon and Thyme Roasted Chicken
A traditional Sunday roast. Chicken, roasties, sweet potato, parsnips, stuffing, steamed vegetables. A feast. Followed by a delicious chocolate rice pudding, skin on.
Wholemeal seeded loaf baked for tomorrows left over chicken and stuffing sandwiches.
