A Few Things

Due to my silly hypermobility, I have been out of action with a very sore ankle this weekend. We stayed home and this is what we have been up to.

- Enjoying the Olympics
We have been bitten by Olympamania! Mr Bee thinks it is wonderful and is well and truly hooked on whatever the sport of choice may be. Gymnastics seems to be his favourite, he has been practicing headstands and somersaults all weekend. We are planning and looking forward to popping down to the Big Smoke on Friday to visit Papa for the day and take in some of the Olympic sights all being well.

- Cutting, sticking and drawing in the sunshine to keep us busy busy.

- Any spare minute I have had has been spent editing, creating and preparing to hand over the images from my very first photo session! I gave it my all and I hope that they love the photos! For a peek, pop over to my other blog, Heidi-Liz Photography.

- After a few weeks planning, we have finally booked our Autumn Camping Trip. A wonderful looking campsite in Wiltshire. We are praying for nice weather!

- We have been missing Papa, he has been gone for over a week now and he will be away for another two at least, before we get him back for a few days and he will be gone again!

- Mr Bee has become a proper little chatterbox. We have been having the cutest conversations. I can't believe I worried so much that he wasn't talking when he was younger, he is doing so well now!

- I stumbled over this GORGEOUS blog the other day, definately worth a peek at Hello Hue.

- Hold on to your kite...

Photo an Hour - Summertime!

Papa is missing us terribly (and we are him!) so we decided to do a photo an hour for him so he can catch up on what we have been up to today.

Lazy Morning
Chatting to Papa before he is too busy.
 Breakfast in the garden.
Paddling pool out and ready to keep us cool.
All the toys out to play with Isaac.
We stumbled across a childrens book store in the village where I work!
After lunch in the village, we headed to the Botanic gardens.

We got back to the car and noticed this! I had only left my car keys on the roof whilst we were visiting the gardens. Oopsy!
Once we were home, we had a lovely light summer salad, which Mr Bee enjoyed for a change.
As Mr Bee had a late nap, we took a little visit to our local Starbucks and had a little treat.
And that was our day, Mr Bee went to sleep very late again leaving me no time to get any editing done tonight. Tonights run was invigorating in the summer breeze, very late into the evening. Back to work in the morning, so more from us at the weekend, toodleoo!

Summer

Summer has finally graced us with its presence. We packed up the pushchair with a picnic, potty and plenty of things to keep us entertained. We spent the whole morning at the park until it got so hot that we had to retreat home.

In the afternoon, I visited Felicity's Wood (in the National Forest) for a photo shoot with a beautiful family.
It was a little overgrown and I seemed to take the brunt of the stings, scratches and bites! Matilda was a little star and I managed to get some lovely photos, its taking me a long while to get through them all!

In a Nutshell

I'm sorry that we have been a little missing in action recently. With Papa being away, we have been too busy to blog so often. Thankfully, the sun has come out and we have been blessed with nicer weather!
Here is a job lot of photos from my phone this week to keep you all in the loop :)

Sunday Sun

Two days of sunshine! What a treat! Of course, when you are two years old, sunshine means one thing and one thing only.
PARK MUMMY! PARK!

The outing was cut short thanks to Mr Bee finding the only muddy puddle in the whole of the field. Boys will be boys!

Charlecote Park

Today the sun came out, shock horror! So on a whim, we visited Charlecote Park in Warwickshire.
We packed up a picnic and headed off ready for lunchtime. Then we had a nice wander around the beautiful property and parkland.

Proud

Today I am proud.
I am proud of Dan for working so hard for us. We haven't seen him for weeks but he will be home soon :)
I am proud of Louie for officially being dry at night times! Hopefully day time will follow quickly!
I am proud of myself for sticking to our new health and fitness regime.

Canons Ashby, Take Two

Today, Mr Bee visited Canons Ashby. We visited last year and have been wanting to return every since. We took a nice picnic and headed off for a sunny day exploring. Monkey came too.

When we visited last year, there was a space at the bottom of the garden which looked like it was once an orchard. This year, it was a beautiful vegetable patch lined with the purple flowering mint that we saw last week at Belton House.

Running is the new 'in thing' at the moment, Mr Bee is getting geared up for the Olympics!
Another spot of 'cricket'!

The camera managed to stay rooted in the bag as we wandered around the house, secondhand bookshop and then tearoom.
On our journey to and from Canons Ashby, we were taken a bizarre way up and down dirt tracks! The crazy sat nav! We also saw lots of fancy cars and bikes, there must have been a few meets on in the area, including a Triumph meet at Canons Ashby! We also saw a baby rabbit sitting quietly in a lay by, it was teeny tiny! Very cute!
