This morning we made our first trip of the year to Calke. I have a feeling it will be the first of many in 2016, though last year I only visited about 5 times!
As the house and gardens are closed at this time of year, we took a little wander down to the bird hide and around the ponds to visit The Old Man of Calke. It was a lovely walk, but I am most pleased with my birdie photographs!
Especially this cheeky woodpecker!
