Weekend
The craft fair on Saturday was a success, Louie was pretty good considering he had to sit behind a table for nearly 7 hours! He was especially cute sleeping in his pushchair, and was excellent looking after Isaac all day :)
On Sunday, inbetween the rain, we headed to Bradgate Park for a nice walk as somehow my little angel turned into a monster over night!
He was grand whilst we were out on our walk but raised hell as soon as we got home and he hasn't returned my nice normal Mr Bee!
If you are hiding out there, we would like you to come back now please!

Hermit
I'm sorry I have been a little quiet the past week or two, we haven't been up to anything exciting really. Staying home because of the dull weather, trying to make the most of staying indoors building dens, playing trains and reading books.
This week also involved some making, ready for a craft fair that took place today. Anna and I spent they day at Hinckley URC and although it wasn't a very lucrative day, I had lots of fun with little splodge, Issac!
How smiley is he! Cutie pie!

Holiday Crafting
This Bank Holiday I have been getting back into my crafting. Following my trip to Cath Kidston on Friday, I have been making this little gift parcel for a friend. Maybe it is on its way to you?
On Saturday, Anna and I stood a craft fair in Burbage. It was pretty pants but we did seem to make some good connections.
I was thinking about making some book marks to sell at the craft fairs. I quickly threw this one together this afternoon. What do you think?I hope you have had a nice bank holiday Easter weekend :)

First Craft Fair of 2012
Yesterday I attended my first craft fair of the year. I shared my table with my good friend Anna. Together we were The Bee Hive Crafts and Sunflower Crafts.
We had a lovely day nattering and even managed a few sales too ;) Our next fair together will be on Saturday 7th April in the centre of Hinckley again, at Praha. A charity event in aid of Breast Cancer Research.

Craft Fair and Giveaway!
The fair, which was to raise money for our local Brownie and Guide unit, was really quite busy however people didn't really seem interested in my stall. I don't think it helped that I was put next to an elderly lady who had made hundreds of handmade cards, selling them for 50p! It did pick up though, and I managed to bring home a modest profit :)

Amazingly, this post will see my 20,000th reader! I simply can't believe that so many people have cared enough to read about our lives! As a token of my appreciation, I would like to give away one of my popular little wallets. To get your hands on one of these, please leave a comment below, stating which wallet you would like and I will draw a winner and post the details on the blog. The best of luck to you all, and thanks again for taking the time to share our memories!

Productive Week
After my successful craft fair last Saturday, I was worrying about the amount of things that I would have ready for the craft fair which I will be having a stall at tomorrow. Even though I have done a bit of procrastinating, I have actually managed to get quite a lot finished. On Sunday I started making cards, but later in the week had a massive session and managed to get loads done. Today, I completed a cushion which has been torturing me for weeks now, but I finally have it finished and looking pretty, so much so that I managed to get a second cushion made today!
I have been making more Christmas Tree decorations today, star and heart ones in red and white, which are very lovely.

I have also booked another stall for February, which will be a Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party run by the wonderful Heather from Tiny Talk.
So wish me luck for my fair tomorrow, for more details, please click here. And have a lovely weekend, I am sure we will as Mr Bee, Nana Bee, our friend Jules and I are going up to Lincoln for their beautiful Christmas Market and we are rather excited!
Take care everyone!

Bits and Bobs
This weekend, I have certainly been a busy bee!
Friday - Trip to the local soft play, followed by a good nose around the Garden Centre, picking up some goodies along the way. Then home for some last minute making!
Saturday - Manically stitching and sorting ready for the Open House in the evening whilst dealing with a sicky bee. Great success at the fair, selling A LOT of items and raising around £200 to send Josh to help build a school in Kenya. However that does mean more manic making ready for the next fair on Saturday! Sadly I didn't get a good enough photo of my stall, which did look very pretty!
Sunday - Up early for a trip to Rockingham Raceway, not for cars this time though. A Joules (my favourite shop ever!) sale! It wasn't quite as good as we hoped, but we did get some presents, and I got a beautiful skirt and a lovely shirt which I can't wait to wear.
The rest of my day was spent trying to get some more cards made to replenish my display. Mr Bee had been so good letting me get on, then we had a visit from Teresa, Pete, Harry and Emily. The children were fascinated with what I was doing, so we all sat in the conservatory for at least an hour making christmas cards.
Plans for the evening: Relaxing with some sewing and mulled wine... yum!

Last Minute...
Last night was spent getting as much as I could done! Unfortuantely, the power kept going out, which meant that my sewing would come to a stand still. So I had a play on Photoshop on my laptop whilst Mr Bee was fussing around before going to bed. I managed to botch together a little logo, what do you think? Please bear in mind that I haven't used anything like that since I was at Uni, so a good few years ago now, and am VERY rusty! I need to work on the bee and make it more interesting, but I think it is cute for a first attempt!
I did however manage to get these little coasters made, I am really happy with them and am hoping to get some more put together this afternoon.
And all this whilst my two little men were having a little sleepover together! How cute!
