Middleport Pottery

We decided to NT on our journey up to Burnley for the Easter weekend, but as we passed through Stoke, Dan decided that it might be nice to stop off at Middleport Pottery, made famous by The Great Pottery Throwdown which we were all enthralled by!

Middleport is the home of Burleigh pottery (which is absolutely beautiful!) and we had a great time exploring the shop whilst Louie got stuck in playing with some clay.

Anna Turns 30

This evening Anna and a gaggle of friends assembled at The Pottery Shed in Hinckley for a little party to celebrate her turning the big 3 0! Everyone pitched in with decorations, nibbles and I provided the cake, it was a great evening of chatter amidst the deep concentration of painting. Some of the creations were spectacular!
