The boys had a fun time telling jokes on our walk to the meadow last week. Here are a few from the cutting room floor...

May Day
Lunch at the Old Bull's Head, a little favourite country pub of ours. Fresh fishy fingers for Louie and the most delicious burgers for Dan and I. Delicious.
Followed by a pleasant stroll through Felicity Woods and a lay down in the meadow for some tranquility. Bluebells carpeted the entire woods, it never fails to astound me as to just how many bluebells there are at this gorgeous little wood. Then back home for some quiet lego playing, sudoko and a quick snooze before Pappy cooked up his famous paella.
What a perfect bank holiday day.

Bank Holiday Weekend
What a way to spend a long weekend.
Prepping the bedroom for decorating, unfortunately the plaster work was just atrocious so we need to wait for Grandad to come back from his holiday until we can make any progress.
Indulging in special breakfasts, home made croissants and McClymont McMuffins.
Shopping for Papa, a new suit and shirts and ties so he looks the part for his fantastic new job.
Lots of time spent out of doors, in the garden, in the fields and a late afternoon picnic in the meadow, Papa's first time.
