Coffee

When we were on holiday, I picked up a photography book from one of the several second hand bookshops that we visited. It was a 1970's publication of 'Photographing Children'. As it is something that I seem to do quite a lot of, I though it would be a good reference book for the sake of £1.80.

I was incredibly inspired by the photographs within. All of them black and white with glorious grain. It made me want to emulate that in my photographs.

This afternoon we met Anna and the boys for a coffee date and a little wander around the new shopping area in Hinckley. The boys were utterly hilarious for the whole trip, but as you can see, I think they had some fun!

Through New Eyes

Last week I picked up my new camera so I have spend these past few days exploring and getting used to my upgrade. We have spent the entire weekend busy as bees at National Trust properties whilst Pappy and Bob have been laying the patio for us so today, Bank Holiday Monday, we have had a very chilled day, catching up on washing, baking scones and playing lego. Just the standard rainy bank holiday really!

Have I mentioned that I love where I live?

Ooooh, and my business cards arrived last week too! Have you visited my photography website yet? Hop along to www.heidimcclymontphotography.co.uk.

 How does she suit me?

And that was our week, the last week before going back to school. I can't believe our little bee is going in to Year One tomorrow, where does the time go!
