Attingham

Spring has sprung and brought with it a snippet of warm weather. With highs of 21 degrees, we couldn't waste that on a day at home, so we bundled into the car and set off on a road trip over to Telford.

Dan chose Attingham to visit and cor blimey it was a good choice! The tulips were out in full force, spreading colour all over the gardens, there was plenty of space for Louie to run around and a good long egg hunt kept us out of trouble ;)

Attingham Estate

They say that a Sunday well spent is a week content.

This morning Pappy took us on a little family road trip to Attingham Park. Though Louie and I have been before, it was Pappy's first visit. We enjoyed a yummy lunch, a very slow amble around the deer park, den building, race running (though not by me!!), deer spotting, resting in the walled garden, warming by the fire in the bothy and a great cream tea before heading home.
A standard family Sunday out of doors, blowing the cobwebs away.

Attingham Jersey Cows

I think I have found a new love. These Jerseys are the most beautiful animals with gorgeous markings and such a lovely temperament. Such beauties!

Attingham Park

With Pappy busy at home fixing the clutch on my brothers new car, Mr Bee, Nana and I went on a spontaneous excursion for the afternoon. We decided on Attingham Park, Shropshire, a huge mansion with an abundance of outdoor walks and things to do indoor and out.

Thunderstorms followed us for the entire journey but it eased off after we had eaten our lunch and spent a good hour exploring the expansive mansion. The sun really had his hat on for the rest of the day, it was beautifully warm leaving us thankful of taking the chance!
