Middleport Pottery
We decided to NT on our journey up to Burnley for the Easter weekend, but as we passed through Stoke, Dan decided that it might be nice to stop off at Middleport Pottery, made famous by The Great Pottery Throwdown which we were all enthralled by!
Middleport is the home of Burleigh pottery (which is absolutely beautiful!) and we had a great time exploring the shop whilst Louie got stuck in playing with some clay.

Sunnycroft
On our way home from Attingham, we decided to stop in at Sunnycroft where I think Dan fell in love. He could have moved in right there and then!!
It is a Victorian house not too dissimilar to the house he grew up in (albeit a little bit bigger) so he did love all the features and the decor. Then we had a lovely short but sweet walk around the mini grounds, and a laze on the lawn before we made our long way home.
What a perfect Sunday.
