Sweets for my Sweet
A special batch of Mojito cupcakes as a little Valentines treat for the Mr. His favourite cocktail in sweet little cupcake form. Of course, the little Bee couldn't miss out on a tasty treat and dug in before Papa even came home.

Bloglovin'
I think I jumped on the bandwagon a little late but boy am I in love! Since signing up I have enjoyed finding and following so many wonderful blogs, but I think the best part is having all of my favourite blogs all in once handy little place. Not to mention the app... that is just godly.
So here are a few little gems I can thank bloglovin for;
Paper Lovestory - A great little blog about all things stationery. From filofax to funky pens, it covers it all.
Love My Dress - This is just amazing for a Bride to Be! So much inspiration and so many wonderful ideas. I could spend my whole life flicking through posts from this gorgeous blog.
More than Toast - The cutest little family blog. From recipes and cookery tips to beauty and v-logs, it is always a good read!
Milk Bubble Tea - Always full of lovely. Be it fashion, beauty or anything really, it is always full of style.
The Beauty Department - The beauty bible blog! Always posting about some new, beautiful makeup techniques, it is full of beauty inspiration.

Sunday
A typical wet and dreary Sunday.
A morning lazing in bed, watching cartoons and cookery programs.
American pancake breakfast.
Quietly playing lego.
Preparing the Sunday roast and pudding.
A walk in the rain, complete with splashing in puddles.
Hot chocolate and a lovely nibbley lunch.
Watching films and enjoying some peace and quiet.
As you can see, the blog has had another little makeover. My new toy arrived in the post yesterday so I have been having fun creating lots of little drawings and a new banner etc. With a new title and a new URL up and coming, it is all very exciting!

Friday
Then yesterday I had working in the morning, rushed home to pick Mr Bee up and then on to Rachel, for a walk in the woods. A good catch up was needed, especially as she now has a little one on board which is extremely exciting. Rachel is the lovely lady who will be photographing the wedding, so it was yet another day full of wedding ideas!
Then it was time to drop Mr Bee off at home before collecting some goodies for a girly night in at Becka's new flat! A delicious dinner, lots and lots of laughs, raiding the lace and jewellery collection and a quick swim before we were invaded by 'the splasher' and 'Mel C'.
And now for a relaxing weekend at home with the boys. Aaaaaah!

Caramel Cupcakes
What is a party without some very cute and very tasty cupcakes? Always looking for new recipes, I decided to make Caramel Cupcakes for Louie’s woodland themed birthday.
Making pretty cupcakes is always a little tricky for me (I think its my inner perfectionist), but I was surprised that the recipe was so easy, replacing the usual caster sugar with muscovado sugar giving the cupcake its caramel flavour. If caramel cupcakes aren’t your cup of tea (although, they are very good with a cup of tea!) you can find lots of other cupcake recipes here.
After combining all of the ingredients together, they went into the oven and that was the easy part out of the way. If you are new to baking, there are some great tips over on the Baking Mad website, including a nifty little video showing you how to make cupcakes.
20 minutes later, 12 perfect little buns came out of the
oven. After leaving them to cool, I began to make the frosting, so they looked
like proper little cupcakes. The golden icing sugar gives a great depth of
flavour to the icing without the need for anything fiddly. Of course, Louie
decided it looked like too much fun so he decided to help me out.
And there we have it. Twelve (almost) perfect cupcakes fit for a 3rd birthday party and goodness, they were very yummy!
