Yesterday we visited Glendurgan Gardens. We were all fascinated at how beautiful the grounds were, full of wild flowers and lots and lots of different trees.
The acres upon acres of garden were spectacularly beautiful. After walking for quite a while, we spotted a little bay and village on the river and had to investigate.
There was a quaint little beach which is a landing bay for lots and lots of boats. We decided to play and have a picnic.
After a long while sitting in the mediocre weather, we headed for the rocks and went for a bit of a climb. Mr Bee was so brave climbing them by himself, barefoot! There were so many shapes and colours and lots and lots of little rock pools, no crabs though!
Then we found a tiny tiny little 'beach' where we skimmed stones and watched the boats. It was so peaceful.
Then we ventured back through the maze of paths, passing the cherry laurel maze again (after we got lost in there earlier in the day!)
Such a beautiful day out, if you are ever in Cornwall, it is definitely worth a visit!
