A special batch of Mojito cupcakes as a little Valentines treat for the Mr. His favourite cocktail in sweet little cupcake form. Of course, the little Bee couldn't miss out on a tasty treat and dug in before Papa even came home.

A Few Things
Due to my silly hypermobility, I have been out of action with a very sore ankle this weekend. We stayed home and this is what we have been up to.
- Enjoying the Olympics
We have been bitten by Olympamania! Mr Bee thinks it is wonderful and is well and truly hooked on whatever the sport of choice may be. Gymnastics seems to be his favourite, he has been practicing headstands and somersaults all weekend. We are planning and looking forward to popping down to the Big Smoke on Friday to visit Papa for the day and take in some of the Olympic sights all being well.
- Cutting, sticking and drawing in the sunshine to keep us busy busy.
- Any spare minute I have had has been spent editing, creating and preparing to hand over the images from my very first photo session! I gave it my all and I hope that they love the photos! For a peek, pop over to my other blog, Heidi-Liz Photography.
- After a few weeks planning, we have finally booked our Autumn Camping Trip. A wonderful looking campsite in Wiltshire. We are praying for nice weather!
- We have been missing Papa, he has been gone for over a week now and he will be away for another two at least, before we get him back for a few days and he will be gone again!
- Mr Bee has become a proper little chatterbox. We have been having the cutest conversations. I can't believe I worried so much that he wasn't talking when he was younger, he is doing so well now!
- I stumbled over this GORGEOUS blog the other day, definately worth a peek at Hello Hue.
- Hold on to your kite...

Loving
Seeing friends, learning to cook, having the swimming pool to yourself first thing in the morning, shopping for small clothes for the small boy, watching the thunderstorms, going to parties, showing off my engagement ring, late night Yoga, learning how to cook and watching the football.

A Special Day
Yesterday I was taken on a surprise trip! All the way there I was guessing where we were heading to, and that was Calke Abbey, one of my favourite places to spend the day.
Papa treated us to a special lunch, then we headed into the gardens to do some exploring. We found a big tree that looked game for a bit of climbing, so up Papa went and Mr Bee and I stayed closer to the lower branches.
Isn't it just the most beautiful place, I love the wildflower meadows. We saw an awful lot of bees, this one seemed to follow me around!
We visited the house on a tour again, Mr Bee was fascinated, sitting still and listening to the lady.
Until he got a little bored and thought my welly might be more entertaining!
After our house tour, something quite amazing happened. As we were heading up the hill towards the gardens, right by the lovely climbing tree, Dan got down on one knee and proposed! It is fair to say that I have been waiting for this day for an awful long time, and I got rather embarrassed! He didn't want me to take any photographs which I am quite sad by, as it would have been a lovely addition to our scrapbook. So then we went for a wander to show Papa the bits of the garden that he had missed on his last visit. We found some vivd blue flowers here, we were all shocked at just how blue they were!
And Papa decided that he should like a row of sweetpeas leading up the drive to our house. How pretty.
And here is the ring, if you know me, you will understand just how perfect it actually is for my star-loving self. I never did think that I would get my star engagement ring that I had dreamed of so it must have been meant to be!

This Little Boy
Never ceases to amaze me. He is getting so grown up and so clever. Every day he teaches me something new.
Everyone always comments on what a good boy he is, even though they think he is younger because he is a little shortie like his Mama.
Even since he was a tiny newborn he has been so intelligent, his Grandad says 'he has been here before' and I believe it is true.
His speech is developing into sentences, he knows all of his colours and can count items up to six. He can run, hop, skip and jump. Has a fascination for horses, motorbikes and loves to bake cakes. There are no foods that he doesn't like or eat, he likes to use his potty but not all the time. Kisses and cuddles come freely, and if anyone is leaving, they get a kiss and a cuddle, and if you are special, an I Love You.
My tiny little boy has turned into an independent toddler who knows just what he likes and just what he doesn't.
I see so much of myself in him, which is just a wonder every day, though he is very like his father - determined and strong.
I have learned so much from being his Mama, tolerance, limitless love and so much more. I wouldn't change any of the time with my beautiful boy and I am so blessed to have him.
