Woolsthorpe Manor

It would be a shame to waste such a beautiful winters morning, so we hopped in the car and drove to Woolsthorpe Manor in Lincolnshire. It has been on our to do list for years now, we wanted to visit with Pappy due to its engineering background.
The home of Sir Isaac Newton, Woolsthorpe Manor is a humble farmhouse surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We visited the house by guided tour, learning all about Newton's life and achievements, debating whether Newton really did invent the cat flap?!
After delicious red pepper and tomato soup from the café, we explored the science discovery centre (great for all ages!) before the journey back through beautiful windy roads.
A perfect way to kill some time on a bright winter morning.
